2020-21 OFIC Scholarship Applications (May 15 Deadline)

The Ohio Banker’s League Foundation Scholarship Program
- Deadline May 15. Ten $3,000 awards available.
- Supports students from across the state of Ohio who express an interest in a career in the banking industry and are studying a major relevant to banking.
- Applicant must be an Ohio resident and a US citizen
- Full-time student during the full 2020/2021 academic year
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Majors: Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology.
- Applicant must submit a current Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and have financial need.
- Sophomore, Junior, and Senior grade level
Nordson BUILDS Scholarship Program
- Deadline May 15. $3,500 average award.
- Last year, Nordson Corporation awarded $700,000 in scholarships to nearly 200 students who expressed interest in a career in the manufacturing industry and/or corporate America. Nordson offers professional development for these scholars through “Lunch and Learn” events, and many scholars are even offered internships each year.
- Interest in a career in corporate America and/or the manufacturing industry
- Preferred programs of study include Engineering, Business, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Industrial Management, Information Technology, and engineering-related STEM majors leading to a career in industry
- 3.0 GPA
- Live and/or attend a campus near a Nordson facility (Ohio Facilities are located in Amherst, Austintown, and Westlake)
