Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Certificate
Franklin’s new online post-master’s FNP certificate prepares students to provide next-level, holistic, comprehensive nursing care to individuals and families. RNs with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Ph.D.s in Nursing, or those who have earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree, our program lets you hone your clinical skills even more. This online post-master’s certificate FNP prepares you to provide next-level, holistic, comprehensive nursing care to individuals and families.

Designed for RNs with an MSN, a DNP, or a Ph.D. in Nursing, the Family Nurse Practitioner Post-Graduate Certificate prepares students to provide next-level, holistic, comprehensive nursing care to individuals and families. Students will build their theoretical knowledge and foundational technical skills quickly. The final year of study provides the opportunity for hands-on learning in a simulated skills lab and on-site clinical residency experience in an approved healthcare setting. With the working nurse in mind, coursework is offered 100% online through convenient 6-, 12- and 16-week courses.

With Franklin’s FNP Certificate program, students learn and practice newfound technical skills in a simulated lab environment. Later, students refine their skills with a real-world internship that exposes them to patients at all life stages from birth through end of life. Through the experience, students have the flexibility to complete hours in pediatrics, women’s health, and a specialty rotation once they have completed their primary care hours.
