Invested in student success since 1902, Franklin University, through its Center for Career Development is (the Center), committed to expanding services to students and alumni. With this expansion, Franklin is proud to announce its newest addition, MyCareer powered by GradLeaders.

In continued efforts to help students and alumni capitalize on professional opportunities, the Center is building upon its portfolio of resources. “MyCareer is a fantastic resource for our students and alumni! This service is 100% free to our students, alumni, and employers who are seeking to recruit our own,” shared Sarah Lathrop, assistant director, Center for Career Development.

This system streamlines interactions between job seekers and employers including, résumé and profile sharing, job posting and management, and career-related event management. With 24-7 access to search jobs, connect with employers and manage multiple résumés, cover letters and other employment-related documents, MyCareer is a career tool designed with the needs of busy Franklin students and alumni in mind.

Employer directory and job leads
MyCareer provides relevant, actionable information to meet the evolving needs of job seekers. With its dynamic job board and tools it helps organizations seamlessly recruit Franklin students and alumni. The tool allows employers to access student résumés and profiles, post jobs, schedule on-campus interviews, and register for Franklin career fairs and recruit students. Gradleaders is partnered with key employers like Nationwide, Eaton Corporation, J. P. Morgan and other major industries all around the globe.

Meeting student and alumni needs
In addition to providing job leads, MyCareer also provides Franklin’s students and alumni with many useful features to aid in career growth. It’s a one-stop career services resource to:
•    Search posted job openings with advanced search tools to find specific jobs including function, industry, location, salary, and keywords.
•    Important dates, career events and program updates.
•    Increased visibility through uploading one’s profile and résumés
•    JobMatch functionality, an automatic way for employers and candidates to conveniently find one another.
