Franklin University Partners with Wappler to Provide Students with a Direct Path to Technology Careers

Franklin University, one of the leading educators of working adults, is pleased to announce its partnership with Wappler. Producers of visual, low code productivity tools for web designers and developers,  Wappler provides the resources to create rich data-driven, highly interactive web sites, and mobile apps. Through this strategic partnership, students in Franklin University's Interactive Media Design (IMD) program will have access, at no cost, to software that will help prepare them to fill the demand for highly-skilled interactive media designers.

Through the addition of Wappler, student designers and developers now have access to a tool that combines the best visual tools with low-code and full-code environments.  Students can build their skills working with application design and development for a full range of platforms from web to mobile including data rich enterprise grade applications. The partnership adds to the robust software and technologies already in use in the program's curriculum, such as Adobe® Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Wappler provides a common tool that both designers and developers can work and communicate in a single tool that eliminates commination and coordination issues typical in such relationships.

With the demand for interactive media designers predicted to increase by 12 percent between 2018 and 2029, students with key coding skillsets will be uniquely positioned to take advantage of a variety of career options.
