Students will have an opportunity to mimic common security threats – hacking websites and wireless networks, sniffing networks to capture passwords, and spoofing network packages – in order to secure networks and prevent data theft and intrusion. In addition, to address the organizational, legal, ethical and managerial aspects of cybersecurity, Franklin's program builds management-level knowledge by examining strategic aspects of cybersecurity such as ethics, privacy, and information security policy and governance. 

To transform students into well-rounded cybersecurity professionals, coursework helps build the soft skills employers desire. Throughout the program students will sharpen communication, presentation and listening skills to create differentiation, whether working as part of a team or as a solutions-oriented leader.
