Franklin University Board of Trustees Elects Kaiser and Toussant

Franklin University, one of the leading educators of working adults, is pleased to announce the election of Lori A. Kaiser, founder and CEO of Kaiser Consulting, as well as, Matthew Toussant, senior executive and consultant of CAS, to its Board of Trustees. The addition of these two new members expands the Board’s leadership and industry connection.

LORI A. KAISER
As a founder and CEO, Lori has a proven track record in working with many Fortune 500 Company executives and boards while implementing innovative solutions to complex business challenges. Prior to Kaiser Consulting, Lori served with LowestPremium.com (1999-2000), Nationwide Communications Inc. (1996-1999) and KPMG LLP (1985-1992). As an involved professional and community member, Lori sits on many boards, as well as, teaches in the MBA program at The Ohio State University and formerly at Franklin University. Lori holds a master of business administration with honors from the University of Chicago (2000) and a bachelor of science in accountancy, cum laude from Miami University (1985).

MATTHEW TOUSSANT
Matthew comes to us with more than 25 years’ experience as the CAS operations leader and as chief scientist over the world’s largest and more comprehensive chemical science data and information collection. He has held a number of positions by CAS since 1980, as well as, served in the US Army Reserve from 1982-2002. Toussant earned a PhD in interdisciplinary (food protein chemistry, nutrition, pathophysiology), a master of science in food chemistry and nutritional biochemistry and a bachelor of science, all from The Ohio State University. Adding to his work history and professional affiliations, Matthew is also a registered patent agent with the US Patent and Trademark Office.

The Franklin Board of Trustees governs the University utilizing leadership comprised of respected business and community leaders. Members of the University’s Board apply their extensive business and professional experience to help guide the direction of the University and help it effectively adapt to anticipated changes in society and the business community. Through their leadership and industry insight, Franklin University has stayed true to its philosophy of being a pioneer in meeting the needs of adult students who have the ambition to continue their education in combination with other responsibilities by adapting to their needs and responding to changes in society, professions, and the business community.
