Franklin University Announces 24% Reduction in Undergraduate Tuition Rate

Continuing on its mission to enable the broadest community of learners to achieve their goals, Franklin University announced that effective in the Fall 2019 term it will reduce its undergraduate tuition rate by 24%, lowering the cost from $526 per credit hour to $398 per credit hour.

With a college degree becoming a necessity for individual economic opportunity and America's competitiveness in the global economy, and unemployment numbers reaching historic lows, there is an urgent need for talent in key fields. Franklin’s newly announced undergraduate tuition rate is 66% lower than the national average for private, non-profit universities.

With the affordable 2019-2020 tuition rate, students have the opportunity to maximize their financial aid, allowing them to finish at their desired pace. Students will be able to increase their course load to finish their program faster, or maintain their current course load and reduce the amount of loans they take out each term, allowing their financial aid to help cover more of their tuition costs.

Over the past two decades, Franklin University has partnered with more than 230 community colleges, along with over 65 corporations and non-profit partners. The new tuition rate provides community college partners with an additional benefit above and beyond the University’s generous transfer policy, and extends the value of our corporate partners’ tuition reimbursement.

The University will freeze its current master’s and doctorate level tuition of $670 per credit hour and $748 per credit hour respectively for the 2019-2020 academic year.
