Franklin University’s Center for Public Safety & Cybersecurity Education (CPSCE) announced its next “Data Bites” lunchtime learning series event “Intro to SB 220: Data Protection Act” webinar with Allen Perk, President of XLN SYSTEMS, for Thursday, Aug. 23, noon - 1 p.m.

The August Data Bites webinar is the perfect opportunity for anyone interested in cybersecurity practices for small businesses, those interested in new legal incentives offered to small business, and those looking for information on how to protect themselves, their business, and their employees with a cybersecurity plan.

the August webinar, part of the monthly lunchtime speakers series, is part of the Center’s commitment to providing public safety and cybersecurity resources and events to provide access to timely and relevant information for industry professionals, as well as the communities we serve.

About the Speaker
Allen Perk is Founder and President of XLN SYSTEMS. XLN has provided IT software and services in Central Ohio since 1991. Allen serves on the Ohio Attorney General’s Cyber Security Advisory Board and is Chair of the Central Ohio AAC for the National Federation of Independent Business. Allen’s passion is to help business owners implement the cybersecurity practices vital for their unique size and industry. Allen holds a Bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis from Miami University.
